My name's Dr. Eric B. Fisher. I'm a dentist in Plainview, New York. I'm the sole proprietor here. I've been practicing in Plainview since 1988. I was exposed to dentistry through my family. My father owned a dental lab. I realized early while working with him that I had a certain affinity for it, and as I progressed through college I basically felt that this would afford me the best opportunity to do something I knew I would be good at.
The thing I enjoy most about being a dentist is the opportunity to interact with a lot of different people. I find that I'm able to do a lot of things for people, affect people in a positive way. The most important thing to me in dentistry and as a professional is my relationship with people. Many of my patients have said that I'm the longest relationship they have in their life. It's all consummated in having a successful practice and providing a service that people really appreciate. And that's kind of what's been the most important aspect of my building, my practice, and the history of how I got here.
